Posted on May 3, 2022October 12, 2022

In partnership with Bank of America & Diligent Consulting, Inc. we presented a mortgage-free home to a combat-wounded veteran on stage with George Strait at his concert during the Moody Center ATX Grand Opening in Austin, TX.

April 30, 2022 – George Strait’s partnership with Military Warriors Support Foundation provided an opportunity to present a mortgage-free home to Michael Diehn a former U.S. Army Sergeant on stage at George’s packed concert on Saturday night at the Grand Opening Celebration of the Moody Center in Austin, TX.

Military Warriors Support Foundation CEO & Founder, Retired Lt. General Leroy Sisco presented this hero, a Purple Heart recipient, with the ceremonial key to his mortgage-free home. The home is generously donated by Bank of America to the Military Warriors Support Foundation through their Homes4WoundedHeroes program and the hero’s 3 years of family and financial mentorship sponsored by Diligent Consulting.

U.S. Army veteran Michael Diehm will move into his home later this year during a ceremony at his new home in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Military Warriors Support Foundation and Bank of America have a long running partnership supporting our nation’s heroes. For the past 9 years together, they have awarded over 200 homes and through the mentorship provided, the families have paid off over $5 million dollars in financial debt.
